PROMONTOGNO

Part of the municipality of Bondo, things of interest are the old bridge over the Mera river; the Nossa Donna church cited for the first time in 988 then reduced to ruins during the sixteenth century. It was re-built on the old foundations in the years 1845-50 by Giovanni de Castelmur; the Castelmur castle which is an ancient medieval fortress and whose foundations and tower date back to the thirteenth century. Towards the river the valley is closed by the Müraia, medieval fortification wall that represents the border between Sopraporta and Sottoporta.
